I want to share a little bit about my best friend and husband, Chris Coons, that you may not know.
When Chris and I met, Chris was the runner. Over the years, we have traded places - Chris now runs for office and runs a government, while our kids and I are more the road runners in the family
Yet, when Chris and I talked about his running for the United States Senate, I knew this was a race we would all run together. Over our 13 years of marriage, Chris and I have shared our concerns over the challenges that our nation faces and the need to do something to address those challenges. I know better than anyone, including Chris, that as our next U.S. Senator, that he would work tirelessly and do everything in his power to make American families more stable, businesses more successful and our nation more secure. He will make Delawareans proud.
